He popped the question on my birthday while we were on a family trip to Lake Tahoe in Nevada. Sipping mimosas and enjoying the morning breeze on the venue's patio, he secretly wanted off under the guise of needing to use the rest room. I was completely shocked when he returned and gestured down on one knee. Simply butterflies!
